Philippine Trade Exhibit

In May 1979 a new complex arose on reclaimed land along Manila Bay, adjacent to the CCP cultural and convention complex.  The Philippine Trade Exhibits, housed in more than 250 architecturally integrated booths and kiosks, is intended by Mrs. Marcos as a showcase of the New Philippines, of the political, economic, social and cultural achievements of the New Society.  It was built in ten days.
